One mans opinion from m14forum

Been looking into the American made rifles; be it Springfield, LRB or Fulton (did I miss any?)

Good luck trying to get a Fulton Armory M1A in Canada. They probably do not have an export license. Fulton would not go through an FFL exporter when I inquired. It would be nice if a Canadian retailer would carry Fultons. But I understand the hastle and expense involved so I would not hold my breath.

What receivers are fultons being built on? I haven't been paying much attention to what they are up to but I thought fulton was primarily assembling rifles, not milling every part.... But I could use some educating on the subject.
Far as I know the only "american" semi auto m14 rifles availlable to us are springers, LRB's and SEI's

Just remember that cross border warranty work is a huge PITA.

Yes it is. I have not had to ship anything back to them but I have experienced a few minor issues that I looked after myself. This was one out of 3 I have owned or own. If you buy SAI there are a few things to look for that are easily remedied.

They cast their own so as you are aware they have the same strength as medium hardness Balsa wood.

Honestly I wouldn't chose them. They have had some bad parts. Bolts being the most frequent. LRB would be my choice and for the price of 7 Norinco's you can have one.
