Hi,

Ian Wright, going into my 3rd year of Arts at the U of A, and very interested in precision shooting and varminting.

I've got alot of the theory, what I need is to get to the range and put it into practice!

Well, I also need enough money to build my dream gun, but that's my problem, not yours.

Any and all advice is appreciated, and I hope to see a few of you at the range sooner than later.
 
Sounds like you are starting the right way.......you know what you need and want.......and build it to your specs from there! I have a brother in the U.S. who benchrest shoots, but other than that I don't have much experince in the type of precision shooting your talking about. Have fun and welcome on!!

Welcome aboard Yenner. I'm in my 5th year *groan* of Mechanical Engineering at the U of A. There's now quite a few of us members at the university. Come Sept, we should all have a meeting. I'll communicate with a few other members about the possibilty.

Anyways, welcome! Lots of great info here.
