I was going to purchase some Russian silver tips but the deal fell through.....

upon searching the online stores I came across a deal that I haven't seen yet, it was as follows.

400 rounds of 7.62x54r / fmj / 9.6G/ 148 grs
Army Surplus / 1967
net weight 10.3kg / gross weight 10.8kg
Banzai spol. s r.o., Praha Czech Republic
$185

now I've read about Chinese rounds being relabelled as Czech? I just cant believe at 0.42cents a rounds it is actually 7.62x54 czech. It is hard to even find Chinese at that price. ? does anybody know about the above info posted or if there is a way to tell if the round is truly Chinese or Czech republic.

store is cdngunwrx …..lots of bad reviews about online purchases and never receiving orders once paid for, terrible customer service and much more. I really want to place a order but am sceptical due to the reviews.

Correct, chinese ammo repackaged in Czech republic.
It still goes bang, but it runs pretty dirty on top of being corrosive, not a big deal. Accuracy is spotty with that batch, even being surplus.

Haven't read anything good about cdn gunwrx either as if late, if you feel like gambling thats up to you.

If they still have stock Trade ex has spam cans or full crates for under $400 with free shipping, with them its no gamble, they're good on every order.
Theirs is chinese as well, early 70's production. I get just under 2" with it through a PU mosin, still corrosive but its goooood stuff

I figured as much, I tried calling several times with no pickup (that alone tells me enough and matches what the reviews said).
-Bigrounds8Mil & Gr33zi3 if you are telling me that the ammo is decent even being Chinese, I will trust you and buy a 440 box. I just didn't like the Chinese factor/quality but if you've shot there stuff ill take your word for it.

Also I just got a offer on 660 rounds of 7.62x39 for 160 bucks (0.24cents a round aint bad?)
this can has 2 ID stamps on it but only 1 matches the ammo out of it. The guy had a 700 round can but shot 2 boxes out of it.
the Id goes like so
7.62....2/1......44-74-85 (top of can)
56 ………………...2-75-101 ( bottom of can looking from above view) ATTACHED url (copy and paste) with 3 photos to show can, cartridge, and 20 round package https://imgur.com/a/JG5mTPH

the ammo matches the second number 101 @12 oclock on the casing and 75 @6 oclock…...does anybody know about this batch AND/OR why there is the first ID number that doesn't match up with the ammo? 44-74-85
(I haven't read or found anything bad about the 75-101 batch)…... I wasn't looking for more 7.62x39 but the guy is around the corner from my house and ill split the deal 50/50 with my cousin so for 80 bucks ill get 330 rounds...not to bad.

101 is Chinese ammo if that helps. Can I ask what you are planning on shooting this through? If you are putting the 7.62x39 through an sks I would not worry too much about what it is. I’ve patterned Czech, Russian, Chinese and GECO commercial out of my sks and averaged like 8in groups at 105yds (paced it out before I had a rangefinder and now the tables frozen haha) for all of them (could probably get that down if I took my time and was a better shot) but for the most part an sks won’t show much difference in surplus ammo so shoot what is cheapest. Also if you are putting the 7.62x54r in an SVt-40 mine patterned worse than my sks......
