added to my tiny stable of fire arms and one more to piss off a lieberal some wheres.
Saw this at W.S.S. last week and I just had to buy it
Norinco 1911a1, my first 1911 and my second pistol
Yup just like all the others on the site, looks lonely I think it needs a twin.
Yes there are all the typical Norinco markings but for some reason they do not come out in the photo.
So far the only issue that I had with the pistol was all the sharp edges, fixed with a jewelers file, I also cleaned up a few burs in the channel that the trigger moves back and forth in the frame, much smoother now.
Even the cheapo plastic/rubber/what ever grips that came with it don't feel to bad but I may see about something after market, maybe wrap around, to help out my big mits and maybe a few other thing, will put a bunch more rounds in'er first but fersure new grips.
Put a hundred rounds through it a week a go with out a problem, one box of Win clean 230grn and a box of UMC 230grn, now I just have to wait till pay day so I can buy more ammo
and will need to eventually start reloading for 45acp.
These things sure are easy to detail strip and to reassemble, done it twice now.
Oh and for those that are curious, I went in five minutes before closing, the store called and started the transfer, I phoned the cfo the next morning to find out what was taking so long and I was told that the transfer was already approved and they wanted to know how they should send me the att, had them fax it to the store for me.
