One of a kind Mosin Scout

Interesting piece of kits, would love to have something like this myself, unfortunately i don't have a shop to do this kinda work, and id believe the amount of work involved would be more then i care to spend on. I think if i was to do this though i wouldn't have bothered with the folding stock. I'm actually looking for a Zastava rifle i saw in a magazine some time ago. It was a new manufacture tanker Mauser 98, but cant remember the model name.

Wow!! Such skill! Well done! For the purists it should be noted there is no other gun in the world that was made in the same numbers as the Mosin! (I’m making that up but believe it to be true)

...but of course its not true. Not that it matters much...

Guys thank you for all the kind words :) yes it turned out pretty nice, unfortunately i havnt been able to shoot it much yet. I took it out once so far, went through handful of rounds before it started raining :) and it wasnt dark yet so no major fireballs yet. For now i can say that it groups pretty well. I hope i will have more time to test it some more and provide you guys with some more pics/info..

I avoided opening this thread, not wanting to see a butcher job on a nice old rifle. What a pleasant surprise! I see, instead, a very nicely done piece of work. I am known to be a bit crusty when it comes to altering old military surplus firearms, but you most definitely get a pass on this one.
