For the Glock enthusiasts, either how valuable or how neat would it be to own one of the first Glock's to come to North America? To have the pistol, two magazines and tupperware case. October 1986 is the date of manufacturer according to the serial number. If you know anything about the Glock history you'll know who brought them in. As for provenance, I personally was there for the transaction. These were made before they put the metal place in the frame for the serial number.

I doubt it would have any more value than a similar Glock of that same year and condition. Hopefully you didn't pay "holy grail" of Glock prices, lol.

Of course it would have the same value, because if it was of the same year, it would probably be from the same batch and have the same provenance.

Although some Glocks have undoubtedly come to have collector value, my experience is most of them aren't fetching much of a price premium, yet. If a good used model 17 Gen 3, presumably the least collectible Glock there is, sat on a table for a certain price, I would think a typical Gen 1 in identical condition right beside it might fetch $100-150 more.

Now, if you've got one that predates the ATF serial number strip that could definitely be worth more to the right buyer, but I don't know where you would have to go to find that buyer.
