A solution to a non-problem.......
The standard system of three rings has yet to be shown to be an area prone to developing functioning issues...
Let the flaming begin....;)

I was also wondering if they wear better? I replace mine every 3-4 thousand rounds, or when they start to get a little forgiving.

Yep, the 3 rings last forever if you don't use them

There is no problem with the 3 ring set up, I have had nearly all three worn and the rifle continued to function flawlessly. The McRings do not bed in correctly and have been the cause of malfunction in a few of the professional use guns we have worked on. Waste of Money, bother and time in my opinion. Still if anyone wants I have a few sets I will trade for new standard rings. Flame away, YMMV but I doubt you will find an operational instructor who will endorse these.
