I load for a 270 win and 300 win mag. I haven't loaded anything for the 270 yet, as I just got it. I'm wondering what powder will work best if I'm loading both cartridges. I don't need bench rest accurate loads, just something that will be consistent and fairly accurate. I'll be shooting 130gr accubonds out of the 270 and 180gr partitions in the 300. Right now I'm thinking either H4831 or H4350 may be most suitable?

H4831 is definitely a good choice for both cartridges.......RL-22 would be another contender for top performance in the 270 and 300 win mag........IMR4350 or H4350 would be okay in either as well, but you may not achieve the muzzle velocities these cartridges are capable of with the other powders I mentioned.....

59.0 grains of H4831 lit up by a CCI-200 primer in an R-P case should give that sleek 130 grain Accubond a ticket to ride....Work up to this load from two or three gains below.......This particular load was a 3,000+ fps killer of deer and pronghorn antelope, and never did worse than MOA on the target range...
