She's your girlfriend, not your Mom.:p

Go buy a lampshade for it. Attach it to the barrel.
Tell her it's a new lamp for the living room.
She'll tell you to get that ugly POS lamp away from her.

Problem solved.:D

I'm in similar situation now:redface:. Engaged and my fiance told me she didn't want me buying any guns until we get married because I should be saving for the wedding:(. I've bought 2 guns since;) (Don't tell her). I figure if I can't buy them now when I have financial freedom (kinda), how can I buy them when I get married? So I am on a buying binge to fill most of my needs. It should keep me satisfied for a few years

Explain to her weddings don't have to be expensive. When I finally gave in to a woman pestering me to marry her, I think the local legion hall was $70, a local band was about $350 and catering about $1000. Its been a while but give or take a $1000 I'm close to the total.

I'm happily divorced now and I don't regret a penny of the sub $2000 bill for that particular day out.

I've always preferred women that like the simple things in life. Unfortunately given time they always eventually realize just how simple I am. :D
