Having only one rifle for everything is a sobering thought.
Why not?
Less chance of a double feed when shooting creatures that can fight back.
very good reason.
ok i ve seen some people with feeding issues on their crf not all crf are all created equals. do not tell about your brno 602: the best ever. a shame never done for us the lefties.
Sobering? It would make me want to get drunk!
I'm with you Eagleye. I have lots of hunting friends that have a 22, a shotgun and their big game rifle, but that is sure not my path!![]()
Why not?
I’m confused. You question the posters reason for wanting CRF. So what is your train of thought here? Because in your second sentence you are expounding the virtues of a 602. Confusing.
Any type of rifle can have feeding problems if not set up properly. The PF crowd have made significant movement towards single stack magazines as even a monkey can get them to feed. Just because someone’s rifle won’t feed correctly doesn’t mean mine can’t.
That's a good one. For me, probably a 6.5 swede with 160 gr RN for game upto moose maybe a barnes TTSX for longer range game?
Culling deer sized animals is a completely different kettle of fish than hunting.
And culling elephants different still
