One round to hunt the world? 375 Ruger!

Friends with the resources to speak from experience tell me the 375 Ruger is a standard anywhere in Africa you want to go.

For me, the “one cartridge for all” of course necessitates you will be overgunned on 90% of your hunts so you have enough gun for the Big 5. Which makes my eyes glaze over at this topic. Lol

Nosler must have really pissed him off. He is now endorsing Christensen Arms and Hornady.
I don't think Christensen Arms chambers a rifle in 375 Ruger.

Mr. Gatehouse has brought this subject up again for no other apparent reason but to disturb dust, and have sport with the boys.

It's a new article about a new successful hunting cartridge. As this is the "hunting and sporing arms" forum, it seemed appropriate to post here, as this is where we discuss hunting cartridges. Unfortunately, some people have come to this thread not to discuss the cartridge, but to just be negative and to "disturb the dust."

Hopefully we can get back to discussing the fantastic success of the 375 Ruger, a truly innovative cartridge of great merit.

I make it a habit to look at the ammo in every store I come across, only the big ones have 375 of any flavour.

The idea of one rifle to hunt the world is nonsensical anyways.

Sheesh Gate!! Regurgitating this stuff over and over, ad nauseum.
The 375 Ruger is nothing more [or less] than a 375 H&H with a different shape.
Likewise the 300 WSM.....the 300 H&H with a new shape.

What one will do, the other will do equally well.
When the newcomers have been around for close to 100 years, then we will
be able to sing their praises honestly. Dave.

When I wanted a bigger rifle, I wanted something a little older, something classy. A pretty Sako AV in H&H fit the bill. I guess I could have bought some plastic new thing for a few percent more performance. Meh, I don't hotrod it anyways. That was the point of a larger rifle.

Some people start threads to goad other people to come and "disturb the dust." Fine by me... I can appreciate an expert roll cast.
