It's Bear season! Who will be taking their NEW KING out for the hunt?
I have killed so many bears with the NEW KING , and so many new fun guns to try out I probably won't be taking out the NEW KING, but I would love to hear your stories of hunting with the Mighty 375 Ruger!

Do you still have the 45 colt trapper I sold you? have you used it for hunting?
Yes I do, I mostly carry it for walks, don't hunt with it too much. I put XS sights on it although I might end up putting a red dot on it like the 45 Colt Ranch hand in this pic.
And Larry has been with Hornady and Ruger for many years. I kicked around at the FTW a couple a years ago with Larry. We were shooting 375 Ruger in Ruger bolts and 450/400 in a heym double on the dangerous game course. We burned a lot of powder over the 4 days. One round with the Ruger bolts was enough for everyone and we all shot the double or used one of the 6.5 Creeds. Those things could detach your retina! Not a comment about anything other than those rifles were no ones favorite to do anything with! LOL
