One species, for the rest of your life?

If I didn't have to worry about mouths to feed........
High mountains for me. It's where I feel the most at home.

Whitetail bucks, hands down. October with the bow, then early November with the rifle and early December with the muzzleloader if I still have an unused tag.

I've never really hunted any of the other large game but I've always dreamed of hunting bull Elk and, to a lesser degree, bull Moose and bull Caribou (I like "bone". lol). Ontario isn't the place for either right now.

deer for me and when thy run out it would be turkeys ,,,,I have been a deer hunter as long as I can remember ,and have hunted turkeys with the start of the first season ,,Dutch

Angus,

Roe deer in Europe can be worst on the hype side by those hunters than any US whitetail deer hunters so i can understand that part. still remember my first one taken with a drilling in 7x65r.

myself grizzly or even bears in general.

If I could ever draw tags for bull moose that would be my #1, however living in Ontario I have to go with whitetails. Grouse are a close second for length of season, ease of the hunt, and abundance where I hunt.

Would have to be whitetail's for me.

Start hunting them in the early bow (Oct 1st every year), then the rifle hunt for 2 weeks in November, then mid-bow season until muzzle loading season (early December) then late bow until New Years eve.

That's three who months of Bambi hunting, especially if you are unlucky or a poor shot and don't tag out early :)
