Newcon Optiks with a magnifier. Has IR, 5 power and works swell out to 200m, I'd say it's kinda online with a gen 2.

We did that to a guy at work with his stapler....
Hid his usual one, and then "issued" him a new one from the PPNS locker, a fancy electric one....ie a regular stapler with an electrical cord from an old kettle taped in the back.
Sat on his desk for about 2 days before he tried using it, and it wasn't working....hard to keep a straight face.
