Like many, i have a list of things to do before i leave this earth, i am in top shape but i decided today to scratch one of my list.

Bought from Tradeex 1 x Zastava Commercial M98 (M70) in 458 Win Mag and a set of Weaver bases then i bought 60 rounds of 458 WM 500 gr Federal Bonded Bear Claws from Epps.

Apparently recoil is hefty, can wait to shoot my Big Five rifle.
Yep the list is getting shorter. :):ar15::ar15::ar15:

Not much left on my "GUN" bucket list. Most of that got stroked off during my stint in the artillery reserves. Fire a machine gun. Fire two machine guns at once. Throw handgranades. Play with a Howitzer.

Only thing left is to be able to keep all my guns until I die

Another thing to try is firing in the prone position an over/under .375 H & H with faulty triggers... the shock of the first hammer falling drops the second hammer... in one big boom... almost breaks a shoulder. I watched a fellow do this in the late 60's. The next on your list should be a .460 Weatherby...

Once had an old Damascus 10ga that would do that.... Should remember that for the bucket list but it's a little hazy. Probably something to do with concussion....

I've shot the .458...holee chit. what was really interesting is how it just so happened that day my buddy brought his, two others had theirs with them...so I shot like 6 rounds, back to back. I didn't bruise, but my shoulder was tender for a wee bit. I can see how a flinch would develop just seeing / hearing a .458, LoL!

Well big surprise the 458 WM is just beautifull, nice wood, deep bluing, good trigger, the sights look like top.

A usual Anthony at Tradeex went full perfect.
It's a recommentation for everyone.:):ar15:

Good to see ye happy with the wee beasty. Anthony & family are great to deal with fer sure.:)

I reckon yer gonna have lots of fun with the .458 as I enjoyed 6 rifles in the chambering over the years. Reloading is the best way to get the
most use from the .458, and shooting cast boolit loads really lowers costs along with adding versatility on all manner of critters & targets.

I have three 458's and two 375 H&H's Never know when you need an edge
The older guns are keepers Old Browning's Bolt Action's
