Here is where you can enter your scores from the various matches (for rules on these matches go to the top of the rimfire page to the thread titled "Rules for Matches".).

And just for a bit of "background info": Unlike other postal matches where you have to mail the target to get it scored this is simpily based on the honour system and the shooter scores it. After this you simply post your results in this thread.

To enter this month's scores you need to shoot the target(s) in the month of November

Just a couple of "guidelines" to follow and you should be fine.

Please state the:

Which match you shot
Your score
Your screen name (i.e. cz452shooter)
Gun used
Scope used (or if it was open sights just state open sights)
Ammunition used

Here would be an example:

50 yard unlimited,

231-2x, cz452shooter,
Winchester 52B, Weaver T36
Eley club extra

Hey guys I will be gone for the next bit (hunting) and won't have internet access during that time. If anyone has any questions you can ask them in this thread and I am sure some one will be able to help you out.

I am hoping to shoot some targets when I am gone (if I find the time) :)

Nice shooting Jack... I got out today too! I like how the 3P and prone matches make a perfect box of ammo!

3P
EBruder, 271... only got 80 points standing!:bangHead:
Brno #4, Peep Sights
Federal Champion Ammo

I can do better than that.... I'll get out soon and do better!

Prone

I'm back now guys (didn't get to much besides half a dozen grouse but had a great time all in all!). Great shooting Jack and Eric!! (That one score is great Jack!)

I shot quite a bit when I was gone and will post my scores in a day or two when I get the targets unloaded... Shot about 13 scores in all I believe for 3p, prone only and the 25 yard standing match.

For a start...

Here are my 25 Yard Funmatch scores. Usually I don't post all my scores that I shoot, but this time I will ;) These were in the order I shot the targets in.

:D

Yes I was quite busy with my shooting ;). Usually we would leave at around 7:00Am for a morning hunt and then get back at around 11:30 or so. I would shoot and go grouse hunting (as well as eat lunch) and then we would go again from about 2:30-5:00 or so for an evening hunt. Made for a good trip with not to much sitting around :D

Got out again!

3P
EBruder, 281 (p=97+k=96+s=88)
Brno #4, Bushnell 3-9 Rimfire scope
Eley Club

At least I'm starting to get more standing points! Gotta get to the gym so I can hold that beast of a Brno still!

Prone
EBruder, 198!
Brno#4, Bushnell 3-9 Rimfire scope
Eley Club

So... Here's a question...

Seems like CZ452Shooter, Jack, and I are the only ones shooting these matches recently... do you guys know how we can get more guys posting scores?

I think hunting distractions may be partly to blame.. Also some ranges aren't as accomodating re: inside ranges, shooting prone and/or standing, so that eliminates a bunch of opportunities to participate as the weather gets colder. I'll look forward to the spring to get back in the 100yd match with my HMR. Towards the end of the summer I found it likes 20grn Hornady's to eat.... so now I need to work on my technique and hopefully the scores will improve !!!

I thought Crumlin had an indoor range...

Get to it!

Good luck with Holly next week.

I think the warmer weather thing in the winter is a big thing. Nice that I live on the coast of BC where it very rarely gets below freezing. I don't think i would want to shoot in -15 or -20 weather either!

I bought a "Carolina knife and multi tool combo" kit that I will be giving away in March or around there (probably wait for a warmer month with a few more shooters to give it away). Maybe this will help with numbers.

The Rest of my scores...
