Online Purchase Question

CFO emailed me for my gun club membership Tuesday morning and approved the transfer immediately. I sent all the info and transfer to the retailer and they confirmed and said they’d put my order in queue to go out asap. Maybe tomorrow it will finally be sent lol
I have been waiting since Friday for a retailer to ship my latest purchase. Seems that my retailer has a long queue….. I will probably get my registration certificate before the gun.

These must be really long queues. The tracking number they gave me still doesn’t exist with Canada Post.
 
Still not shipped out. Emailed them again asking when it might happen because I’m flying to work for 12 days and won’t be here to receive it. That queue I got put in on Tuesday morning must be some long. Tracking number provided still shows as not in the system. Frustrating.

Yes. Some retailers are better than others at getting packages shipped. And some retailers are just better than others. But it's only been a few days, really.

In general I try to be patient with firearms retailers in Canada these days, they're in a pretty uncomfortable position.

I finally got notice that my latest purchase was shipped today. 7 days after my transfer was approved. The retailers must be busy.
 
Day 10 that Firearms Outlet Canada has had my approved transfer and still not shipped. Getting frustrated. My last email was responded to 5 days later and basically said “we can’t find your order in the pile” and “we’re busy”.
 
Has anyone had any experience with NAS Outdoors in Fonthill Ontario? These seen to be really dragging their butts getting a transfer number for me. Been over a week now and I have personally initiated 8 transfers linking the buyer into the call so as to complete both ends in one call. NAS only tells me that they keep getting disconnected. For a small shop that is lucky to sell a couple of firearms each day they seem to be pretty inept. Or I’m getting screwed, let’s hope it’s just inept.

But if you’ve had any dealings with them, good or bad please post.
 
Day 15.... Still hasn't shipped. Curious if the one I bought from a different retailer less than two days ago will ship before it.
 
Just some businesses have no idea what customer service is. If you cannot get orders out in a timely manner hire someone that does just does that.

A retailer probably isn't going to get you a transfer number.

I'm not referrring to the business gett ing me a transfer. I just want the transfer request number that is given when a transfer is initiated.

Bought over 50 restricted since March, every retailer either automatically forwarded the transfer number or gave it to me at my request. These guys haven't even made the request yet to the CFC.

There's only one relevant number that you care about: the "transfer reference number".

Some online shops don't automatically send it to you, some do.
 
Called today and they were able to get it picked up by Canada Post this afternoon. They're not sure why it took 3 weeks. Neither am I, but at least it's finally on the way.
