I’m trying to identify a leather cartridge belt…It is about the same width as a Sam Browne belt but there’s no provision for a shoulder strap or anything else. It has a two pronged buckle. I count about 20 cartridge loops on each side of two bigger loops. It’s stamped Martine or Martins Birmingham Ltd with a broad arrow and the year 1917. I’ve googled British militaria but I cannot find a picture of anything that resembles it. The oscillating loop stitching resembles a boer war bandolier but this has no flaps by its design. I can’t post pics yet but I’m getting better at emailing them(baby steps)
