Only One Handgun

That's like asking; if you could only have one screwdriver, or one wrench, which would it be?

They're tools; multiples are required if you're to have the right tool for whichever job comes up.

You're definitely right, but it's fun to think about sometimes, like if SHTF, and you only had enough time to take one with you. It's definitely not a serious question, but a fun "what if" question.

I agree and if the world go’s into zombie apocalypse mode you will be able to find parts everywhere and can even cannibalize other Glocks and use some of their parts IF it breaks. Kinda like the AK of the pistol world.
Exactly not that I don't like my Shadow

If it had to be just one..... Glock 22 .40 S&W with conversion barrel to 9mm. And a .22lr conversion unit for same, too.

So, one gun & 3 calibers to launch from it.

NAA.

An awful question that made me break out in a sweat! When I first got my license I bought three handguns on the spot...

But if I must play, 1911 in 9mm.

That's cheating partner! But good thinking outside the box. Still, just the .40 S&W with 180 gr Speer Gold Dots should do the trick nicely.

Ruger GP 100 stainless 6 inch, In the almost 30 years that I have had this gun it has never let me down, it can handle full magnum 357 loads all day long and keeps coming back for more. Right down to light .38 special target loads.
