Not that you can hunt them where I was anyway, but still annoying to get this close.. All I could think of was how I could get one of em

Lol well I threw a couple large snowballs at one of them and all it did was stand there and look at me.

I also had an apple with the same one, just cut some off and tossed it down.. was like a dog really ate it and looked at me until i tossed some more

I have seen them come out about 75 yards or so away on our trap range and shake off the 7 1/2 shot that peppers them. The guys who have been shooting for years said it is quite common and have seen them even closer. They know where the threats are.

Neat pics. :)

Great pics, love that first one. Looks to me like he wants that BBQ turned on....

+1 for the anvil, it wouldn't be hunting so much as it would be an 'industrial type accident'....

Weekend get away at Tall pine lodges in West Hawk Lake last weekend.

I had my Fabarm with me (true gunnut!)... staring out the window at the deer.... at the shotgun... back at the deer... sighing.

I was thinking about grabbing one of those fawns and throwing it on the BBQ... no one would notice!

It still is here and I'm not quite tired of rubbing it in yet. I'll be after duck and goose tonight!
