He's 14 and wants to hunt this fall in Ontario, looking for a course close to Kingston in the next few weeks. Need course dates and books.

Anyone happen to have the books available to purchase, would love to hear from you.

books are part of the course fee, and will be given to you when you show up. Go to the OHEP website and search for courses coming up...if nothing is listed, contact an instructor in your area and ask if any courses are running soon.
 
I have PDF versions of Hunter Education manuals for Manitoba and the Atlantic provinces as well as 4 American states (Maine, Kentucky, New Jersey, Ohio). You might find them useful background reading. PM me if you want copies.
 
Sorry to bump this old thread, but for future interested folks, I took Bruce Stratton's course last week and he is an outstanding teacher. Highly recommended. There were at least 4 youngsters in the class, and he had a great rapport with them.
