I don't like that my licence info is managed outside the province, but so far I've been happy with the way the new system works. I used to have to renew my hound and coon hunting at night papers at a regional MNR office- which meant a minimum 11/2 hrs roundtrip drive. I renewed last month at my "local" shop- no trouble at all.

Yep. I hate it too.

I bought for a 2012 deer tag online. When you first log in, it gives you a list of stuff you can "buy" so I click on the deer tag. I was on the ball that day and didn't see anywhere to apply for the antlerless draw. So I go back into the main "shopping" area and the antlerless draw option is where the deer tag was (the draw doesn't show up, until you add a deer tag into your "cart").

I almost just bought a deer tag and didn't put in for the antlerless draw. Stupid thing.

This new system is one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen! What was so bad about the old system? I thought it worked great! So much for our tax money and licensing fees staying in the province.

Talking to the local country store owner where licenses are sold around here. He said they have had no end of issues with this new system. It took me 30 minutes to get a moose license.

Not to mention the price of a deer tag!! Almost $50 to hunt deer now.

Yeah, they dropped the ball on this system...I'm sure it will get worse in August when the deer and moose tags are supposed to be mailed out...
