Ont Moose results available

I have to drive 20 minutes :dancingbanana:

I'll  as you drive by my place. :welcome:

1 hour if we go to my buddies camp - real beds, complete kitchen, big woodstove and outdoor sauna on a sandy beach.

That's awesome! You have moose 20 minutes from your house. I have pretty much every other amenity in life within 20 minute or so of my house, many hours for you? For instance, gun shops... within an hour about 6. How about yourself?

How far do you have to go to legally shoot restricted weapons... within 30 minutes driving, I don't have enough fingers to count here.

Actually I have had moose right in my yard, it is 20 min to the WMU, 12B. 3 ranges within 20-40 minutes, all allow restricted, the one i belong to has a 300 yard range and access to the indoor range in the winter. 1 real gunshop, a number of sporting goods places that also sell guns. I hunt deer right across the road on crown land and bear at the back of my own property.

I lived in S. Ont until I was 20, age 1-5 in Niagara Falls, then escaped to the north to go to University. Never looked back. I visit 2-3 times per year and enjoy all the amenities (gunshops, reloading supplies, Stratford/Shaw festival) I do not have readily available here.

Anyway, enjoy your 22 hour trip (which I will be making at the end of August for a visit) and good luck with the hunt.

My group is good for this year: 2 Bulls and 1 Cow in 16B.

As we like to joke: "If it's brown.... it's going down!"

We're up in the Savant Lake area. Have had excellent results up there the last several years, and we have gotten to know the terrain well. Like Coreyd, we too have about a 22hour drive from Toronto. But, the road trip is part of the fun and we've had some excellent memories from the road.

My partner hasn't had a adult tag for 15 years we decided to hunt 15B this year instead of WMU 48 and applied as individuals go figure we both got bull tags. Should be interesting getting adult tags next year

I got a bull tag for 16C.

It's 5 mins from my place.

I applied as an individual and it's my first time applying for moose.

I'm pretty stoked.... already started scouting spots from the air.
