If you applied as a group, that is the only way to transfer a tag, and then you have to go to the MNR to do the transfer and have a real good reason to transfer the tag.

Yes you can transfer the tag, with good reason.
Our party member who drew the adult tag had a sudden bussiness call, and had to go out of country and would have left the rest of the party tagless for an adult moose.
Be carefull to destroy any other tags that are affiliated with the original tag allocation, or you will be charged with an offense if caught with two valid tags.
