ONT New restricted transfer wait times??

I was also dealing with the same issue, bought back in November. I just got mine in this week on Wednesday. Hope yours comes soon!
 
I had a transfer started on Jan 4th for a zastava m57 and still have not heard back from them :( I'll keep you all posted when it finally goes through.
 
Here at the privince of Quebec is Terrible they do it willingly to discourage honest sports shooters.
Currently 2 transfers pending here at 6 weeks for 1 gun and the other 2 weeks.
I call her every week to find out, he says that everything is OK but does nothing. They really take us for idiots.
I work in the public I deal with dozens of files a day with computers and techno, this is not a valid reason
When we realized that I sold to a guy from the west 24 hours the next day, it was done.
One day gentlemen, we do nothing, we will lose all our rights and not only restrict them, all weapons
We need a big gathering in Ontario and Quebec together for some super big, to let us see and hear that.

Hi guys, I just Purchased my first restricted firearm yesterday in Ontario. The store told me it would take about two weeks for the registration and provided me with a reference number. I was wondering if there was a website we can check the status? Is it the one on the CFP site in individual-web services?

Nope you have to Call in, If it was a private sale and you are the buyer you will have to call in to complete you end of the deal. My last sale twas on Jan 7 and the transfer went through Jan 31.

So if buying through a dealer I don't have to call in to complete the transfer? I've only done one transfer and it was private sale
 
Transfer whether new, used, or consignment from a retailer, they care of everything.

Purchasing private, both buyer and sell has to call in.

Started a transfer yesterday and the firearms centre lady (very nice and friendly) said that Ontario CFO approval times were averaging over 3 weeks. She said the volume of transfers was very very high.
 
I bought a restricted AR from irunguns on Jan 22- I live in Ontario. On their (irunguns)website it stated "pending cfo approval" by the 23rd. I just checked and its status is "customer completely paid awaiting shipment". So I'm assuming that the Ontario CFO has approved it
 
Another transfer for me through a vendor.

Both vendor and I are in Ontario.

Transfer in - Jan 17

Completed - Feb 4

Glad to see that the times are starting to speed up.

I'm still waiting on 2 private transfers from early 01/2020. I was the seller for both - both purchasers were Ontario residents.
 
Does anyone else got any transfer completed lately.

I bought one from a store in ON on Feb 3, hoping to hear something back early next week

Hehe, that's why I wanted to know how long was it taking for anyone else's process, I'll probably will wait a bit more than I expected
