Do you have to wait for the ATT to come in through the mail once you get an ATT approved or can they send it to you by email? Just wondering if I’ll be playing the waiting game again after my gun gets home before I can finally take it to the range.

You need to wait for it to come in the mail unfortunately.

Transfer received by CFO-ON; Mar 14 (Monday)
Called today to check status and was advised they're currently working on transfers from Feb 22 & it will be roughly 2 more weeks and I'd receive an email notification when it was complete.

Jeez are they really that far back? I called in my transfer on the 7th. I have a feeling I'll only get it marginally sooner than you.
Initiated a restricted transfer Ontario to Ontario on Mar 1’st, buyer called on the 2’nd. I got the email authorization to transfer on the 18’th. 12 business days after the buyers call.
I bought a new restricted Sunday Mar 6’th, processed on Mar 7’th. Got the pick it up authorization today March 23. So again 12 business days.

Purchasing my restricted handgun took about 3 weeks for the transfer to be completed.
Also, to reply to the person who was asking about receiving their ATT via mail.
You can connect with the RCMP main switch board speak to a rep and have them "shoot" it over to your e-mail so you can get it same day.

The 13th was a Sunday. I know this because I made a restricted retail purchase on the 12th and the CFO-ON had received it from the dealer on Monday the 14th. That means my transfer will probably come through in the next couple of days.
Of course that only means I'll be able to pick it up and take it home. I'll still have to wait for the registration certificate to come in the mail before I can take it to the range.
