ONT New restricted transfer wait times??

They just took the money off my card from the Cabela's June 3rd buy. They said they wouldn't do that until it's ready to ship so I assume it's shipping shortly. Still have one in from July 14 at Marstar. Will update both when shipped

False alarm on my June 3 transfer. They were just putting a pending hold on my card again. They already did this in June a few times. Once for a lock, once for a case and once for the gun. Those disappeared then the full amount showed up July 17th that included the lock, case and gun. I assumed that was them removing the funds this time but it was another pending card hold that will disappear in 3 days apparently. They keep doing it periodically to make sure card has enough room. Sigh lol
 
5 weeks and a day, private sale. Funny though, as I have a business purchase that was started 2 weeks prior and it's still not approved. Out of province though but still needs ONT CFO to approve it.

Might be the business was slow in initiating the transfer?

I think by that ref # your transfer was not submitted on purchase date. I had a purchase on May 31 but the transfer application did no get in until June 2 and that ref # is 5896### so thinking your transfer app was prob put in late June 2 or June 3.
 
May 31 order
July 27 received gun

No emails from anyone. Checked the RCMP website and my email is correct. So, no RCMP email and no CFO email. Dealer got the transfer approved and shipped me the gun.

Now, I'm just waiting on the other 10+ handguns to be transfered ;)
 
Can anybody in Onterrible that has purchased from outside the province chime in and post your wait times? I had a sale in the province that was initiated over 2 weeks after a purchase from Alberta, and it went through last week. Still waiting on my purchase. So apparently they don't process in order???

Your transfer get processed in the Province you reside. If you live in Ontario and purchase in another Province you are still at the mercy of the much beloved Ontario CFO. I have purchased a few and the one from June 1st still has not been processed.
 
I have one #595###X incoming and 2 #595###X outgoing and both are private to private. Add to that that I'm in Bantario and I might as well just get on with life. Probably take a year for our "public servants" to start making a dent in the mess created by the Turd.

It’s not an automatic function for the agent at the CFC to add your email address onto the transfer application (it should be though). Many of the agents will do it though without asking but I always as for it and occasionally one will say, yep, I’ll do that for you.
