Muzzle devices are ‘major firearms components,’ and as such require extra paper-work. It will cost you $250 at Brownells for an export with these papers. Might as well be ordering a receiver and barrel at the same time.

Only gun ‘parts,’ which doesn't include receivers, barrels, bolts, or cylinders, can be shipped with the easy method. Scopes with a ‘military specification’ and all sorts of muzzle devices are a separate category [I(b) rather than I(a) above], not eligible for the easy method.

Well crap on that is what I say haha, thanks for the info though it's much appreciated. The rules and regulation surrounding some things are just plain dumb if I do say so myself. I don't suppose you could offer a fella a suggestion for a good spot to look for a compensator?
