Ontario Additional Deer Tags

Oh good, When I get my draw tag I'll go scoop an Antlerless.

If there's anything left over after July 29th you can buy in person at a Service Ontario location (usually mnr office depending where you live) starting July 30th but that's only for what's left over. I would call in this week unless you buy tags for WMU's that usually never sell out.

edit: I see you are from the NW, probably a sure thing in person.

In my area the extra tag is buck only for bow only and most of southern Ontario is the same way.Better check to make sure your area has doe tags !!!.No muzzy tags at all !

My area has 1 addition anterless bow and 1 additional anterless muzzleloader. I wish I could buy an additional buck tag. I don't use my buck tag for anything less then a big 8 point. Until the last few days of the season anyways. Last year I turned down 4 small 8s and one real big old 6 point his rack was small but body was huge. I regret not taking him

What the hello for $46 bucks I picked up another doe tag for 79. Both of my tags are for bucks/does. Around in 79, 87 and 88 you can pick up 3, 2 and 6 additional tags. Deer are here, problem is getting permission to hunt in southern ontario. If I shoot 2 that is more than enough deer for me.

Less tags overall available for WMU 78 compared to previous years.

From what I remember Similar # of extra tags in the Lake of the Woods /Nestor Falls area (10, 7B, 7a, 9a, 9B). The guy I booked a cabin with this year says driving hwy 71 at night can be downright hazardous for the amount of deer he sees. They had an easy winter from what i can understand.

Yes, I'm in 8, where one can walk in with just an outdoors card and buy an Antlerless and License, where deer are routinely shot in the back yard.

88 has so many tags avail. too bad my friend sold her property so now I am at 89A on another property but with a huge pond stocked full of geese, it makes up for it I guess :)...and yes so hard to get permission around here
