Bought an AR receiver set from retailer in AB.
I’m in ON.
My CFO’s office says they’ve had “an increase” in transfers recently and 2-3 weeks is the par time. I’m in Week 3, so I’m hoping any day now...

Popped into the store I bought my AR from, near end of May, owner said two weeks is what she’s been experiencing here with others they sold, I’m hoping for this week....enough that I’m tossing a empty case, trigger and padlock into the truck.

Just a heads up ON and QC transfers are taking 2-3 weeks at the moment.

We where advised to not call in and confirm transfers until the 2 weeks mark.

I appreciate the heads up.

Ordered on the 30th of May from you guys and 31st of May from another vendor. My order from the other vendor has been shipped on the 14th of June, I'm still waiting for the transfer from you guys. I'm still super stoked as it was a great deal from you guys.

I've been waiting for a handgun, SW22 from Tenda, since the 29th of May.
Called the Quebec CFO (SQ) and after 45 minutes on hold, I hung up.
Quebec sucks on all fronts...
My AR did transfer however did go through and was purchased after...weird.

My AR went through first as well but the vendor initiated the transfer same day of purchases. My handgun transfer easnt initiated until June 4 and was bought on May 30, at least that's what the CFO told.me.

Was it your first AR of this year?

Sounds like a case of the process being a punishment. More attempts to frustrate shooters into just giving up by subjecting us to poorly funded, slow systems.

GF here stopped by a shop yesterday to pay for and start the transfer on a Uberti Colt Walker Tuesday and got the email it was ready to go before the end of the day.

I consigned my restricted rifle to a local gun dealer in April. It sold at the beginning of May to a buyer in Quebec. To date no transfer has been approved. That's 6 plus weeks.

In the email I received from Sureté du Québec:

''Prenez note que l’arme, étant une carabine semi-automatique à autorisation restreinte, des vérifications approfondies sont nécessaires et peuvent prendre jusqu’à 6 semaines (jours ouvrables) de traitement''

Bought it may 20th.. received this message june 4th... Because its an Semi-auto restricted its minimum 6 weeks… So I hope transfert will be complete in the middle of july ! …. That's crazy !!!
