At the office today killing time and decided to enter the anterless deer draw. Anyone else get their name in yet?

The deadline for applications by telephone is 11:55 p.m.
(ET) on July 31, 2008.
The deadline for paper applications to be received at a
ServiceOntario Centre is 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2008.

Starting in 2009, the deadline for applying to the
Antlerless Deer Draw will be June 30. The earlier deadline
will enhance customer service and ensure timely delivery
of deer validation tags to hunters.

Haven't put my name in the hat, our area isn't 100% draw yet they have extra tags, how the hell does that make any sense:confused:

Looking at the moose regs looks like they cut our tags in half for area 4 this year:mad:

NOTE: that the draw closes a month earlier this year, June 1, I beleive, so don't leave it too late.

OOPS, sorry about that.

It will be nice in 2009 to have your tag more than just a few days before bow season starts.
 
does anybody else have to go out and buy a seperate tag to do the controlled hunt if they apply for the antlerless tag in the archery only hunting units? When i first started doing both it got really confusing at first and the hunting regulations were not very helpful
