Ontario Anterless Deer Lottery snafu

But the antlered vs. antlerless tag ratio would certainly have something to do with current and desired herd ratios. Like I said though, my bet is you will get a tag and it will be antlerless.

Where did you find out how many tags were issued last year? This year is my first hunt. I bought my buck tag and got my name in for doe. Just curious as to what my chances are of a doe tag. I heard an unsubstantiated rumor that all tags were issued last year and people were able to get extras beause they were not all purchased. This is wmu 58-59

Everyone who applied for an antlerless deer tag should know that this year the MNR has made some drastic changes the tag quota. In some areas there are massive cuts. I hunt in WMU 46, last year they issued 2,000 license's, this year it is only 450. I hope I can get a antlerless license.
