A buck only tag is good for anywhere in Ontario. If PARTY Hunting in Ontario as a group it does'nt matter who has a tag anyone in the Hunting PARTY can shoot the critter. So if only 1 person has a doe tag and 5 people have buck only tags anyone can shoot the doe ( only 1 ) and the rest can shoot all week on bucks only !!!.Check the Ontario mnr regs and they say the same.

Negative on the doe tag, not surprising been applying for 8 years and never got one yet in 62...My granddaddy got one that's all we got out of 15 of us so far :( My uncle will shoot one for sure he's got the watch that seems to have a doe only rule on it every year :p

We're 3/3 on our hunters ive checked with in 49. Given the few guys who forget to apply, and the few guys who would end up with tags even if they forgot to (I kid, thats just how it seems!) we should have 7-8.

yes for 46.

It is as 88 main posted.

A little story about wmu 46, Me and the 2 others I hun with were all sucessful this year in 46. Looks like the deer numbers are getiting better. The last 2 years the numbers were down. We party hunt so any one of us was able to fill the antlerless tag. Last year I did not get the tag, but did shoot the antlerss deer. (my first deer!!) Since my tag was buck only the person with the antlerless tag must tag it with theirs.

I got one in 42 so that's 1 in 5 hunters successful. We normally hunt in 63A but the odds of getting a tag, or even seeing a deer there are so bad the last few years we switched to 42 where we usually see lots of deer while hunting moose. We planned to only combination hunt (deer and moose) this year in November when the seasons overlap, but since 1 of the group members snagged a bull tag we are also going up for the opening week of the moose season.
