Last year i had 57 deer under 30 yards broadside. I only got 1 tag. Luckily friends let me hunt on their tag and i took 3 deer. 2 with a bow and 1 with muzzleloader.

There are areas in which you're allowed to use bows during the controlled hunt? I thought controlled hunts were limited to firearms?

Yes for 87D (bows only).
I also applied for controlled hunt for 87D.
Looks like I'm staying close to home this year...

Not really luck (cuz I think it is close to 100%, if not 100%)... but we were all successful in 43B (grandfather/father/son).

I didn't think that was possible. 82a has been 100% for years. Our entire group of 7 was successful in 82a, same as the last year, the year before that , etc....

Success in 90 for me, and 92 for my wife. But it's a little easier down here.
