-Moose is only mandatory if you had a calf tag for wmu 48, 55A, 55B or 57. Or if you had a tag for wmu 65.
-Bear is mandatory
-Elk is mandatory

What does mandatory mean? Penalties if you don't? All big game must be seen and registered in Quebec. Makes for better statistics right?

There could be penalties for failing to report. I know one chap who had the mnr call him because he failed to submit his bear report.

Postage cost aside... we should all be submitting our reports to give them more information to go on deciding next years quotas. This year more so than ever.

I went for years without any consequences without reporting on the Controlled hunt. I only started doing it again when they offered the on-line option.
