Ontario Black Badge Courses

I am wondering if anyone knows of any upcoming black badge courses in Ontario club you know putting one on. I have been looking t get involved and watching the web page and signed up for the notifications but so far nothing.

I am hoping in the Toronto East area.
 
Courious I wonder if there is someone who looks at the ipsc website and establishes areas which show interest thru these bb course sign ups and then arranges courses to be setup in central areas to this interest

I've had my name on the list for a year. No responce
 
I'm not sure the list is working. I've signed up on multiple occasions and have never received anything. I know of at least one course I missed that was within the area I had chosen to be notified for.
 
You have to indicate specific clubs not just areas where you want to take a course.
Please keep in mind that the instructors are volunteers and do have lives outside the sport as well.
As I suggested earlier, if you are looking for a course, contact the ipsc rep for your club and if the range time can be booked, an instructor can be booked as well.
Or, send an email to the BB Training Coordinator to see if there are any courses pending,
or if your club does not have a rep, ask your board about booking range time for a course, or getting the coordinator to come out there for a meeting.

Years ago, people would travel almost 4 hours in some cases to get onto a course that became available, so depending on your area this might be a possible solution.
Instructors can/will travel you just have to ask.
 
I don't mind travelling for a course, I had checked off almost every club within a few hours and still didn't get any notifications. Is the notification a manual process?
 
Not a manual process, once a course is posted the notification goes out to those that signed up for that club on the list.
 
Ok thanks. Well I re-registered for the notification a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully I get the next notification for one of the clubs I chose.
 
Do the legwork and get in touch with your club rep in case there is enough demand within the club that it is not posted to the website.

Ok learn something everyday but when shooting lets say shotgun in a IPSC tournament you will still need a BB?
