Ontario CFO - Restricted transfer times

Called today and neither of my transfers are done...
Ontario Extension is 7503 in case anybody needs it.. I wasn't going to waste my time waiting...

Does anybody have the info on how to submit an ATI for the registry? particularly the different CFO offices.

Purchases from businesses take next to no time. But man, these private transfers take fooooooreeeeeeevvvvverrrrrrrr!!! I'm now waiting over 3 weeks for a purchase I made from another CGN'r. Do the Anti's know that putting the priority on business transfers will INCREASE the number of handguns in Canada?

A dealer I bought a piece from the other day mentioned that since I'd bought from him in the past, the transfer would go quicker since "my name was already in the system".

Is there any truth to that?

Started Dec 14th, finished today. Month and a half for a p-38 post ww2 individual to individual. 4 days for p-38 ww2 issue from dealer in ottawa.

Well I guess there is, 'cause the two Sigs I bought last week are already in my name. Should get them in today or tomorrow.

Usually same day in New Brunswick

Of course the gun community here is pretty small were mostly on first name basis. I bought a handgun on Saturday and they called me monday to tell me I had to pay my club membership dues in order to process the ATT. That is assome service. The biggest delay in getting the transfer was the drive over to the club secretaries house to get my membership card. I also like the limitations that they put on the back. Any Range in the Province of New Brunswick between the hours of 12:00 am and 11:59 PM.

According to the Ontario CFO its taking currently 5-6 weeks as of three days ago... I complained Friday and they told me to call back on monday... it was approved at 9 am that morning

They gave me a hard time and said why are you in a rush to get this restricted gun... a rush its was already more then 3 weeks.

you should have said because the bank closes at 4:00...:D

A comment like that could have your guns ceased by a SWAT team by 4:00

Regardless why I need it, 3 weeks is to long when in other provinces it take 5 days max

Well I just got off the phone with the CFO Ontario and told them my plight apparently they have 800 of them in queue... I have no idea how many people they have working there but it doesn't sound like it should take that long!

None the less she took my reference numbers and she will about moving them up the queue...

Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me... But we will see

193318X Started 1/21 still waiting
191475X Started 1/03 still waiting...

And this is what we've spent billions of dollars on...

Ask them how they would feel about somebody holding a bag of $1000 of their cash with a 3 week head start...
