Could some one please give me an idea of current On. restricted transfer wait times from a dealer? I just had a private transfer done in exactly three weeks so waiting two weeks from a business seems a bit long.

I was just told , might be a few weeks because of hunting season even though I don’t see the correlation because u can’t hunt with restricted and u don’t transfer non restricteds so....

4 wks and counting. Its not ontario, Hold up is with the RCMP. Last time checked they were 3 to 4 weeks behind.

They all seem to be dragging their heels lately. Tomorrow will be the start of week #3 waiting for an Alberta-Alberta transfer. Pretty ridiculous actually considering that transfers usually take 2 days here. Both of us have called like over a week ago to see what was up but they said they are “pretty busy”. Buyer has a valid range membership and everything as we both checked to make sure all the info was correct. Wonder if they are purposely dragging their heels.

How does one cancel a transfer?

Pretty ridiculous. There needs to be some set of standards for this, not just take however long they feel like. Should be 2 weeks MAX.

I don’t believe it has anything to do with RCMP and all with province. Alberta few hours to a day.

Just passed the four week mark. This was a purchase from a large Ontario based store going to an Ontario address.
I shoot at an outdoor range so my chances to get to the range before its too cold or snowy are diminishing daily.
