Ontario Cheap Walmart 12ga

I hear that walmart has cheap 12ga in #4.

Has anyone in the GTA seen this? Also can you confirm which walmarts have this as well as the price per 100.

Ya there about 29 bucks per 100 rounds plus tax. There basically just trap loads. they have #4 and #7 1/2.

I've managed to find it in anything from #4 up to #8. While I've never had a problem with it, some people report jamming and such. It all depends on the gun. I've shot it with an H&R Pardner, to a Savage Model 30 that predates me by probably more than double my age, to a friends brand new out of the box Mossberg 500. I've never had problems.

I've found that some Wal Marts, and more so Canadian Tire stores carry the Federal Field and Range shells for around the same price. They are superior shells, in my experience.

$29 per 100 shells works out to $7.25 per box; the premium stuff(Win AA, Rem STS) is only ~50 cents more per box.
If you shop around, you can probably find the cheap winchester stuff(super target,super speed,etc) for ~$5.50 a box...

Yes, but not anywhere near #4 shot. It's all 7.5/8's. That's everywhere for cheap. It's all about the #4 shot

Exactly, I want #4 as it is actually useful and has a bit more of a bang than target loads, although I like cheap target loads too just to practice.

Yes, walmart seems to only have in stock 7.5/8's, the 4's are usually purchased quickly from the selves and this should be a wake-up call for the manager in the sporting dept.

Sorry what is wss? Do you know if canadian tire has a similar deal? I've only ever seen the 100 packs. I really want to try to shoot trap for as cheap as possible

Just got a box of number 4 for 29.99.... 100 Rounds, luckily, they had 12 in stock, the shelves were empty so I had them check the stock room.

Wal-Mart has Winchester Super-Target for $6.57 a box also. It is number 8 shot.

I just bought a box (100) of win #4 at cantire for under $30. No issues with my moss 535 or my grizzly.

What are you shooting of killing that requires the use of lead 4"s? just asking.

Canadian Tire here in Windsor had a flats of 250 target loads for 62 bucks the other day.
