Ontario controlled hunt 2026

[jlovie]

Don't think I heard a shot in 85c at all today, sure did get windy for a while in the afternoon though. Sounds like more of the same weather tomorrow.

Absolutely still in my area. Mosquitos were driving me crazy today. South winds are never productive in the properties I have access to

[valczer]

15 degrees Celsius already… ayyyyyyy!

Mid 60s F. in 76A.
I was up working around the property to about 4pm. No shots heard.
Still deer on the cameras day and night.

[valczer]

I, heard 4 shots yesterday, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening 4:30-5:15 pm

[jlovie]

Around 9am on Tuesday, I was just checking in to see if anyone had any luck and I finally heard a shot, I'm almost positive it was my pops. Fingers crossed.

[brybenn]

Had 15 small does and fawns in front of me. 60 yards for over a hour they played. 1 small 4 point joined them. Theyre staying in the branches and holding tight.

Unfortunately the shot I heard wasn't dad but it was in the bush beside him, which is also ours. Turns out some jack wagon was flock shooting turkey from off the road, classy. The mnr guy stopped dad on his way back to his wheeler. There was an mnr vehicle, an opp and a tow truck by buddies car when I looked through binos at lunch. That's timing for ya.

Also, how is it hotter today? I hope you fellas that drive the bush have blaze orange undies, cause I'm down to my tshirt just sitting in the stand.

Went for a sit today. Had a doe at 50 yards for 10 mins, but she busted me and never gave a shot. Squirrel rut seems to be on lol
