Ontario Deer Hunt

Which season do you hunt in?

This is going to be my first deer hunt, and since I will be hunting on a buddy's farm, we can't hunt till the harvest is all done, so December hunt it is for me. When do you hunt?

Archery, shotgun and muzzleloader. Try for bucks only until mid Deember.

Can one apply to hunt in both the November controlled season and December controlled season in Ontario?

Bow when I can, Rifle with lots of hounds in November and a SW Ontario December hunt when I can get away from school.

No. You'll end up with both applications being rejected.

This will be my first time hunting deer as well. I'll be in the December controlled hunt.
I'm pretty excited to try this for the first time but unfortunately I have to work through the week as well.

Depends on what area you are in. In my area I can hunt any open season.
