Good luck people, shoot straight.
Due to some personal stuff, I have a change of venues this year. Should be interesting hunting from the moose camp!
If I get a lot of snow I'll be in trouble. ATV in and out is enough fun when it's dry. So far the forecast is not bad.

My self I am going to be picky as I got one buck that I have spent 3 years after and he's back and I will not use my tag on anything but him. I guess the only shooting I may get is at the end of the week if there is a party tag left but I can not see it. This is the year of Bucks here. Passed on one last evening with the bow. My group is with a friend and wife and mother and father in law so I want to see all them be successfull too.

I'll wait out the one Mr Big
 
This will be my first year out. I finally got off my azz and did all my licensing after years of talking about it. It would be a lie to say I'm not incredibly excited.

I've had the trail cam out since the end of July, and have seem some nice looking bucks on it. I'll see what I can drum up.

I'm likely going to take half days here & there to hit the two properties that we have access to.

Have our trailcams out & the first time to check them will be the first day out. They will have been up 2 weeks. Hoping they have some good pics!

Stuck on course through deer season...I have 2 days to gun hunt...the 17th and 18th. Glad I got all that bow practice in this year, gonna need the bow more than ever!!

I was supposed to to be going to WMU 42 for the week but all that ended abruptly when the fella I was going with asked me to buy him some ammo as his PAL suddenly expired.
The trip was in the planning for the last month & half......

Good thing I shot me a moose up in WMU 4 two weeks ago :) Best of luck everyone who is heading out. This cold snap should get them moving atleast.

You're not going hunting because your partner has an Expired PAL ?

Myself Im heading direction NW to WMU 7B-9A-9B-10 on the 16th..cant wait.

He was the one with the truck :(
And 1 rifle between 2 hunters within eye sight of each other is just plain silly to me! If it were my kid it'd be a different story. But this is an adult that allowed his PAL to expire. This to me is just plain irresponsible.
 
Heading up to the camp this afternoon for the week... good luck everyone... I think the fact that I'm going hunting is the only reason I am okay with being away from the forums for a week... sad but true

Make him chop wood and make dinner while you are hunting..he wont' let it expire again. Too bad about the ruined trip.
