Ontario Deer Tags,Who got em ?

Last year all I saw were does in 67.
That said the yote population in the area I hunt is huge as well. So I can understand the lower count in the tags.
Of 8 people that hunt the area I was the only one to get a doe tag last year.

Got a moose calf tag in the mail per design (just got into the draw so I get to pool 1 next year). Have not gotten a deer tag yet - figured they would mail them out together, would that not make sense??

Well I'm hunting in WMU 47 so should be able to get a doe tag there. Ill figure out how to check online.

Happy camper!!!!! I just got the word that all 3 of us got doe tags for WMU 56! If the wolves don't move in on the first week of the hunt (like last year), we'll have venison on the table come the winter. Good luck to all you guys. Share the joy

My buddy and I that put in for 56 won as well. I wonder if they didn't award more this year than last year?

You guy's have to enter a draw for every deer over there?

Glad i live in Alberta, tags are a bit easier to get, 3 deer tags with no draw required, plus drawn for cow elk and bull moose, couldn't imagine no venison in the freezer every year!

Antlerless for WMU 64A This is my first year deer hunting so I still need to find an experienced hunter/teacher or a group.

Successful in WMU 41 for antlerless ... second year in a row! I also picked up an additional in 48 for antlerless. I remember a time not so long ago when it was quite unusual to receive a doe tag - these really are the hay days for deer hunting around here. That said, it can only last so long I'm sure.
