WMU 82A antlerless... now, where is a good place for a newbie?

Apply in draw for antlerless. Buck tag can be purchased any time. Rifle seasons are kind of poopy down south here ... 2 weeks only! But if you ML or archery you can get 2+ months.

Thanks for the explanation. Biggest WT I ever got was in Merrickville. Hope to top that this fall.

Archery is oct/dec here. 3 one week seasons for black powder or shotgun. My area is black powder only which is a separate draw. Antlerless is a separate draw as well. Each tag is like $48 now

Ouch. I think this year they're $22 in BC/deer, Three species to choose, plus LEH on Fallow Deer.

We blanked in 43B... 0 for 3. That is the first time in 20+ years not having drawn an antlerless tag in 43B... For many years it was at 100% or close to it... Now I am hearing rumors of low deer numbers and high predator numbers... Not from what we are seeing... An evening drive, will net 100+ deer sightings, and the OPP have had record deer/vehicle collisions... I think MNR got it wrong.
