Regardless - one is a criminal code offence, the other provincial court. Also, I have a sneaky feeling they will have their hands full trying to win enough voters for the next election, they won't waste time on stuff like that.
 
I believe the purpose is that a Conservation Officer is not a Peace Officer by Criminal Code definition. Thus he/she has no authority to demand to se a PAL. For years OPP constables accompanied CO's and made the demand and inspections of PAL and (then) Reg Certs. When enacted a CO can make the demand and if you don't have it a hefty fine will be the result. There is always a purpose for these changes. I just don't know what it may be right now. I am hoping that a change does occur in the next election. Until then sorry for the off topic hijack of the thread.

got my antlerless for 82a second year in a row
first year i didnt get out due to being away for work

anyone around 82a let me know if you have land or want to push some brush
 
Guess I got lucky. I totally forgot about the draw so I went to service Ontario 2 weeks ago. I was able to buy my standard tag/license and another 2 archery antlerless additional tags over the counter. 3 tags total and I never went in the draw.
