Yes that is true :)

But just how many sites are needed?

And in the back of my mind I just can't let go the thought that maybe the only reason for the sites existance to build it up, campain for sponsors & sell it!
I apoligize to the site owner if that is not true but????

I was on the North american hunter message board, and I talk regularly with many guys from ONT as there i a forum dedicated to it. Thing is, NAH board is only for members(sales pitch).

One guy thought about starting a new board...

Sounded like a good Idea, just thought I would pass it on.

Hey if it sucks, I wont use it either...
 
There are quite a number of sites, some are really good in specific areas
eg..24hr campfire if your a Sav collector
but for the most part I have found 1 good forum is all that's needed,
course being on dial-up :rolleyes: 1 site is all I have time for too!

Why don't you just become a reg at this site?
I don't think you'll find a better one!
 
I looked it with the intent of browsing the forums, and if I saw something I liked, to register. However, you can't browse the forums withoutb registering. I guess they'll just have to get by without my gems of wisdom. :D
 
registration is free and doesnt take that long its just so people dont come in and spam the boards with crap and then leave and we have no way of banning them, we have 17 people now and almost 100 posts.

Yes reg is free but he was refering to browsing.
Any new forum I look at, I may attend & read posts for weeks or even months to decide whether there's enough info or whether there's enough interesting stuff to partake! By not being able to see what's going on in your forum the vast majority will just X & continue surfing.
 
Oh i agree Senior its just that you only have 2 choices with this board and that is let everyone see and respond or registered members only, if i let everyone respond then you get idiots that just spam the boards and just be what they are and thats idiots, with forcing everyoen to register it at least allows me to ban the person so they cant keep doing it over and over.
 
East vs. West

I'm from West Quebec. My vote's West of East, er...

I'm on dialup and also have checked out as many of the similar boards as I'm aware of. Bottom line is none even hit the paper like this one in every respect for me. This one is the best organised and managed.
