Nice! I wish we could get there a couple days early to relax, drink beer and scout....maybe when the kids are older.

I wonder if we met your friends up there last year? We met a bunch of guys the past couple years. Ask them if they met the guys on the big bus?! They might have joined us for a beverage!

We're taking the bus again this year, and I'm almost done building the big trailer to pull behind it.

Will do for sure!! We actually bought a ledger for the bus/hunts. Anyone we meet, we ask them to sign the book (and write anything else they want.) So years from now we can look back at the book at the people we've met along the way.

Will have some dandy pics this year!!

I'm heading up that way too. I'll be hunting in 16C. I am leaving from home on Monday morning but will stop by my property for a day. I'm planning to set up a camp Wednesday morning and start scouting the area with my ATV as soon as I can.
4 more sleeps for me. :rolleyes:

4 days! I'm jealous! 16C isn't too far from us. We've got some friends who hunt 21A (Longlac).
I'd like to ask you...what's the terrain like in 16C?

We added the garage last year and it made all the difference in the world.
Before we had the bus, we were renting cabins, which was nice too. The bus has saved us some coin. Who knows how long it'll last, but we're definately enjoying it now...

The short answer is: no idea. :eek:
I hunted in 16C about 10-12 years ago but we hunted on Little Caribou Lake (Northwest off Armstrong). The area around the lake was rolling hills with heavy bush. We saw moose signs but got skunked. :redface:
This year I will stay on dry land and try a different area. I'll go a few days early so I can set up camp somewhere, scout and get somewhat familiar with the bush. My hunting buddy is coming up next week.
3 more sleepless nights. :rolleyes:

That bus is the bomb! I just wish we could use something like that in the area we're heading.

Good luck... I leave for moose in 17 days in northern Saskatchewan.
