Ontario - Possible to take minors and PAL in one course?

Hey everyone, I just turned 18 and am looking to get my PAL, Ive been around guns my whole life ( Have minors, and had apprentice I believe it was prior). But I was told by my father that the course I was in tor my minors already qualified me for a PAL. I have never heard of this and was wondering if it is possible? Or should I just wait and call the CFO on monday?

yes, same course. Just check of pal when you do your renewal. No need to do the course again.

I dont have my PAL as of yet, am just wondering if I need to take the course or could I already have?

You take the course once, send in your application, wait 2 months, get your minors PAL. then when you are 18 you can get the minor part lifted.
