I Note that the Sharron Club has stepped up to the plate to host the 2009 Ontario Provincials!!

Congratulations!! As MD for last years Provincials I know the amount of work that goes into such a venture and I wish you well.

Now I just need to wait for match copy and applications for CRO/RO slots.

Keep in mind that these days, there's guys (dicks) at the stages with stopwatches looking to get those things tossed due to inconsistent times for each competitor. Make sure it's #### proof. :D

The last time a truck stage happened, it was an older carberated Dodge made up to look like a Half-Track. The regulator was cranked up, and the driver simply lifted his foot off the brake to start. The truck was backed into the berm for the start, serpentined up a set path, and stopped at a fixed point.

The shooter fired from the tailgate which was padded with sandbags.

Of course nobody counted on 6'5" competitors leaning out the back, leading the turn to get more sighting time on what were essentially disappearing targets. Two competitors managed to break 90 doing so. :(

Not nearly as scary as my squad, guess who'll be on it....lol...should give the RM's a stroke!

Careful young grasshopper. Difficult squads require special handling. I seem to recall an RO from Brown Hill who our beloved RM could sic on you. :bigHug:
