This sounds like an event of epic proportions!
The last time a truck stage happened, it was an older carberated Dodge made up to look like a Half-Track. The regulator was cranked up, and the driver simply lifted his foot off the brake to start. The truck was backed into the berm for the start, serpentined up a set path, and stopped at a fixed point.
The shooter fired from the tailgate which was padded with sandbags.
Of course nobody counted on 6'5" competitors leaning out the back, leading the turn to get more sighting time on what were essentially disappearing targets. Two competitors managed to break 90 doing so.![]()
Keep in mind that these days, there's guys (dicks) at the stages with stopwatches looking to get those things tossed due to inconsistent times for each competitor. Make sure it's #### proof.![]()
Can anyone go and spectate??? I am currently debating on starting to shoot IPSC. Plus Sharon is like 10 mins from my house. And the participants might get Miss.EvilDezel to start IPSC as well...

I remember those truck stages what a blast... of course the glory days of the Sharon Open will never be again with the prizes of guns and equipment with everybody in attendence going home with something.. and then there was Neil's cooking especially his pastries top notch
